Breakfast in Holiday Inn Express Sydney Macquarie Park by IHG
We were happy with our stay. The bed for Elizabeth was too firm for Todd was OK. We had appointments most morning, so we were out and came back around 2 pm or 3 pm. but one day we came back early and the room had not been refreshed, we went out to have lunch, then we came back and still had not been refreshed. We had to get up early the following morning so after a walk, we started to relax and then we heard a knock on the door about 4.30 pm or 5 pm with room service, we were tired so we said don't worry about today, but then the following days, again we came back and our room had not been refreshed - so we didn't bother with it all. We kept the room tidy anyways. The breakfast was good for us, the only thing for Elizabeth is that she doesn't like scramble eggs with milk or whatever other things are put on and the bacon was overcooked, but we found some pieces of bacon that were not too hard. We loved the yoghurts and fruits and the hot chocolate (we had to manage the sweetness and it was supersweet but we had to pour some then add hot milk to it. But these are just minor issues, we made do. We love the staff, especially at Reception - Maya :-) and others we did not catch their names. Todd said there could be more variety for the breakfast.

I was really happy with my stay here, and would definitely stay again! I was really happy with the accessible room, which had clearly had some thought put into its design. There was plenty of room to move, multiple seating choices, both low and high tables, lowered clothes rack and lowered tea and coffee station. There was even second lowered height peep hole in the door - with covers on both for extra privacy! The bathroom was mostly well designed. They'd actually remembered to put space for you to put things next to the basin! Unfortunately though, the floor wasn't angled correctly for the shower drain, which they've tried to fix by adding a low lip around the edge of the shower, which still didn't actually succeed in containing the water, so fortunately they'd provided plenty of towels! Another positive of staying here, though, was that breakfast is included for free! It was a simple selection, but for free that's entirely reasonable. I was slightly disappointed to discover that the shuttle bus I had been hoping to use doesn't actually run all day, just morning and evening, but fortunately it's very close to a bus stop and a short walk to the metro station

The finishes on all the amenities The linen , bathroom toiletries, the tea ond coffee facilities. I particularly liked the Soft and Firm pillow choice and the fact that I was trusted not to steal the coat hangers. The breakfast was one of the best buffets I have had at any hotel recently including those I had to pay extra for

I liked the room - it had everything I needed and that it was close to shops and the location of the conference I was attending. The bed was good, but I would have loved access to a blanket (particularly for those that like weighted blankets for sleeping). It was close to a coffee club which was handy.

The room was very comfortable and amazing for the price - great value. Super Clean. The breakfast was a great option to have so i could fill up for the days adventures. The closeness to facilities and activities made it a great choice and i will happily return again.
